Swimming

I'm trying to combine waves with some figure drawing but stuck how to proceed. As some practice here are some sketches from videos of nude swimming.

Inktense pencil drawings

Looking more for expression than accuracy this week. Inktense watersoluble pencils with a little graphite to find the shapes. First two 5 minutes, three 10 minutes and a 15.

Then some slightly longer poses: 20 minutes and 30 minutes.

2D or not 2D

First in solid form, sculpture from Thursday. Trying for an ancient Egyptian look.

Then the 2D. First a couple of 5 minute drawings.

Then 10 minutes

Then the rest were between 25 and 30 minutes each.

Just lines

Two poses split into four views each on Tuesday. Each view would be about 12 or 13 minutes.

Shapes and lines

Really good poses on Tuesday, hopefully caught something of the shapes. First a five and two 10 minutes.

Two 15 minutes.

Finally two 20 minute poses.

Tidying up

Tidied up some some loose sections in yesterday's painting. The background is probably too literal.

Long poses

.. thought I'd already posted these but here are two portraits from Saturday. Acrylic then coloured pencil. Both about 2 hours.

Then a couple of quick, 5 minute drawings from today.

Then two long poses, the first 2.5 hours, the second 90 minutes. Acrylic and coloured pencil again.
